License
1. Single User Licenses
Used on one computer at a time (one active session) and conduct one HRV measurement at a time with the app.

 

2. Group Measurement License
Supports simultaneous HRV measurements for 10 or more participants (license-dependent) using the Kubios HRV mobile app, with all data analyzed in Kubios HRV Scientific.

3. Classroom License
Designed for educational institutions, the Classroom license covers 10 or more computers (license dependent) with a single license, simplifying license management. Available also for larger research groups.

Pre-processing
- Built-in beat detection for ECG and PPG data
- Automatic noise detection algorithm with adjustable sensitivity
- Automatic beat correction algorithm for correcting missed, extra and misaligned beats from RR interval data
- Trend removal for optimal short-term HRV analysis

 

HRV analysis
- Analyze specified time periods or entire recordings using time-varying analysis
- Parasympathetic (PNS) and sympathetic (SNS) indexes for stress and recovery monitoring
- Time domain HRV parameters: Mean RR, SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50, HRV triangular index, TINN, HR deceleration (DC) and acceleration capacity (AC) etc.
- Frequency-domain HRV parameters: VLF, LF and HF band powers, peak frequencies and LF/HF ratio
- Nonlinear HRV parameters: Poincare plot (SD1, SD2, and SD2/SD1), ApEn, SampEn, Detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA), Recurrence plot analysis (RPA), and Multiscale entropy (MSE)
- Respiration rate (RESP) estimate for exercise physiology and accurate respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) analysis

 

ECG waveform analysis
- Analyze QRS duration, QT/QTc times, and P, Q, R, S and T wave amplitudes for specified time periods
- Parameters are extracted from an average ECG waveform (selection criteria for averaged beats can be adjusted)

 

 

 

ANS function analysis
- Analyze standard autonomic nervous system (ANS) function tests, including Valsalva ratio, HR response to deep breathing, 30:15 ratio for head-up tilt challenge
- Additional HRV scores for the deep breathing period as well as for the supine and standing periods of the head-up tilt challenge.

 

Sports and exercise analysis
- Detailed physiological performance metrics, including HR, HR reserve, RESP, training impulse (TRIMP), ventilatory thresholds (VT) based on HR, RESP and DFA-alpha1, and VO2
- Heart rate recovery at 60s, 120s and 300s increments as well as fast 30s recovery (T30).
